According to tirebusiness.com, Wonderland Tire has acquired Triumph Tires Inc., a commercial tire distributor based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The purchase marks Wonderland’s first formal entry into the Wisconsin market and extends a family-owned footprint that already covers Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
The deal follows Wonderland’s recent acquisition of Ray’s Tire locations in Appleton and Green Bay, and it reinforces the company’s strategy of steady regional growth. Wonderland, founded in 1978, positions itself as a provider of both retail and commercial tire services, emphasizing broad product selection and customer service.
Dave Langerak, Chief Operating Officer, described the acquisition as a strategic fit for the company. He said the move will enable Wonderland to offer AcuTread remanufactured tires in the area, adding another product option for local fleets and commercial customers.
Beyond expanding market reach, Wonderland said the acquisition reflects its stated values of family, value, and trust. The company also emphasized plans to invest in training, systems, and equipment for Triumph employees, aiming to integrate operations while maintaining service continuity for existing customers.
