The Lascoton portable car heater is a compact heater that just needs a cigarette lighter to work. It is an excellent addition to your car if you are having difficulty defrosting your car or you have no car heating at all.It is a lightweight device, interestingly a little larger than I was expecting however it fixes neatly to the dashboard and does not obsure vision when driving. The heater can be mounted to your car dashboard either by using screws or an adhesive pad. Personally I chose the adhesive so that there was no damage left to the dash when not used in the future. The adhesive is strong and double sided.  I would recommend this at least at first and if you do feel it will be a permanent fixture you can mount it with the screws later. This device has the option of heater mode and fan mode depending on the weather this is adjusted accordingly using a toggle switch labeled at the back, it is straightforward to use. There is a small amount of noise produced by the heater but I believe this to be pretty common with most heaters of this nature. Again, it is minimal but it is worth pointing out that it does exist. For us the main reason for trying out this car heater is a temporary period of no heating in our car has let for such a device to be purchased. It does the trick in terms of heating, I personally like that if the idea is to keep you warm you can position the device at you on the dash, or if it is more to do with defrosting the windscreen it can be angled to blow heat across the windscreen. It only takes a few minutes to feel lovely and warm in the car (no need to wear the hats and gloves in the car anymore!)
