According to tirereview.com, Sun Auto Tire & Service, a leading independent tire and automotive service provider, has acquired 23 locations across Colorado and Arizona from DAS Drive Automotive Services. The deal gives Sun Auto its first footprint in Colorado, marking the company’s entry into its 26th U.S. state, and strengthens its presence in the greater Denver market while further solidifying operations in Arizona.
The acquisition pushes Sun Auto’s national network to more than 575 locations, reinforcing its standing as one of the largest independent providers in the industry. Customers at the newly integrated sites will gain access to national tire brands, digital vehicle inspections, expanded repair services, and a nationwide warranty, all backed by Sun Auto’s centralized systems.
Operators and teams at the acquired shops will tap into Sun Auto’s shared resources, advanced training programs, and integrated technology platforms. Those tools are designed to deliver consistent service quality, better technician support, and improved operational efficiency across the network.
Chief Operations Officer Chris Ripani said, “We’re excited to welcome these respected brands and their teams to the Sun Auto Network. Each of these businesses has built strong relationships in their communities by delivering dependable service and taking care of customers the right way. That commitment aligns perfectly with the values we look for in every partnership.”
Announced from Mesa, Arizona, the transaction reflects Sun Auto’s focus on sustainable expansion and continued investment in technology. The company, which operates under the Sun Auto Network banner, says the move is intended to provide a uniform customer experience centered on clarity, confidence, and care, and to support everything from routine maintenance to major repairs across its expanded footprint.
Sun Auto framed the acquisition as part of a broader growth strategy that prioritizes partnerships with operators committed to service excellence, employee development, and community engagement. The added locations are expected to integrate into Sun Auto’s operational model, benefiting both customers and the technician teams who work there.
