This is a review of the YOSH Rubber Magnetic Car Phone Holder

Made of silicone rubber the YOSH Phone Holder uses a strong quadra nickel plated magnet to hold you phone firmly to the air vent of your car. I absolutely love the design it is small, discreet, made of an environmentally friendly material, ease to fit with a well thought out construction.

To set it up requires you to push the clips on the back of the holder into the air vent until it clicks, make sure you have an air vent which will accept this shape or firmly locks into place. Then it is just a case of attaching a small metal plate that comes inside the pack to the back of your phone using a sticky tab that is also provided.

Once attached your ready to put your phone to the holder by gently putting it near it and it should attract to the magnet. The magnet is brilliantly strong. What you do need to do though is give it a good clean so there is no residual grime, debris or grease on the back that could prevent the magnet from working or the phone slipping off.

If you use a phone case to protect your phone, if it is thin enough you can use the magnet on the inside (between your phone and the case) and this should work to attach to the YOSH phone holder, if the phone case is too thick you will need to remove it altogether and just attach the magnet to the actual phone.

The magnet allows for various devices to be attached as well as phones, such as small tablets and small GPS systems. You can also have your phone in either a horizontal or vertical position as long as the phone magnet and YOSH phone holder is central. It also travels well, once attached its not going anywhere, you may get the occasional wobble from it going over bumpy roads but that is to be expected with most car gadgets and given the state of our roads in the UK, they could be a lot better.

There are limitations to the YOSH phone holder, it only fits to certain vent sizes and shapes, it specifically will not fit a small circular vent in your car. Also if you use wireless charging you will be unable to do this while you have the magnet attached to the phone, so you will need to remove this before doing so. The YOSH phone holder is powerfully strong, holds your phone while only taking minimal car space and comes in a fun, small, discreet and great value for money package.
