According to tirereview.com, Vredestein is preparing to roll out the Quatrac Pro 2 across Europe in 2026. Developed by Apollo Tyres, the new model builds on the Quatrac family and targets premium cars and SUVs that need true year-round performance.
The Quatrac Pro 2 is presented as an ultra-high-performance all-season tire that promises improved handling in wet, dry, and light snow conditions. Vredestein points to redesigned tread patterns that increase grip and help cut aquaplaning risk, while keeping road noise low.
Importantly, the tire carries the 3PMSF certification, the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol that proves compliance with severe snow service requirements. That credential makes the Quatrac Pro 2 a credible alternative to seasonal tires for drivers who encounter occasional winter weather.
Vredestein says the Pro 2 was tuned for balanced dynamics, with an eye toward extended tread life and a quieter ride. The company highlights compound and construction updates aimed at managing higher torque and greater vehicle weight, factors that matter on today’s heavier performance cars.
That engineering focus also makes the Quatrac Pro 2 suitable for modern powertrains, including hybrids and electric vehicles. EVs in particular tend to stress tires more because of added weight and instant torque, and Vredestein says its compound technology addresses those demands.
This launch follows strong showings from earlier Quatrac entries. The Quatrac Pro and Quatrac Pro EV performed well in independent testing by Auto Express, earning praise for wet braking, dry handling, comfort, and snow performance.
Dealers and consumers should see popular sizes, including 225/45 R17, during the European rollout. The Pro 2 aims to strengthen Vredestein’s position in the growing all-season segment as more drivers look for convenient, high-performance options that work across a variety of climates.
