2019 Chevrolet Silverado Exterior
Chevrolet has successfully converted Silverado into a brand new truck that no one has witnessed before. The design looks modern and sleek. The makers have decided to remove the squared-off fender flares that have been a part of the Silverado since 1973.
Chevrolet has also worked on the cargo bed and has successfully increased is size, which in turn makes it a lot more practical and increases its functionality. With seven increased aerodynamics the Silverado will definitely provide a better performance. The distance between the wheel wells on the new Silverado has been increased by about 7 inches, it makes it very easy to fir. Broader things into the truck’s bed.
Various trim options will be made available for the truck. The Trailboss trim comes in the market with a 2.0-inch suspension lift. It also gets Goodyears Duratrac tires which are going to be of 18-inch with double five-spoke wheels. The High Country trim comes in with a unique grille which gets a two-tone chrome design.
By the looks of the car, it seems that it is going to be a success and is something right out of a truck lovers dreams.
2019 Chevrolet Silverado Interior
The new 2019 Silverado does not look drastically different from the previous model but there have been considerable changes made to the interiors of the car. On the upper trims, one will get a dual tone dashboard and also a bigger center console. While the lower trims will come with a gray or black dashboard which will look less premium and sleek. But the best part is that the 7.0-inch MyLink infotainment system will be made available even in the base trims. People opting for the mid-range trims will get an optional 8.0-inch MyLink system is optional while on the higher trims it will come as standard.
The makers have done a good job with the steering wheel. It is redesigned to look much more premium and furnished but the controls on the steering are just like they used to be. The improved cluster will offer digital vehicle stats. Enough storage space has been offered on the interior of the car. With double glovebox and other storage spaces, you will never fell short of places to put your stuff in.
2019 Chevrolet Silverado Engine
Even before its debut there was a lot of buzz and rumors about the engine of the Silverado, the official detail is that there are going to be new two V8s, 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter. A 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder turbodiesel will also be offered. Most probably the makers will offer the current eight-speed automatic transmission, the 10-speed automatic transmission is going to be provided on premium trims. The best feature is the Chevrolet new Dynamic Fuel Management system that shuts down the cylinders actively when power is not needed in order increase the mileage of the car.
The only thing known about the new 3.0 turbodiesel engine is that it is going to come with a 10-speed automatic transmission. No other information has been released about the engine.
2019 Chevrolet Silverado Release Date and Price
Chevy as of now has not made any official information about the pricing of the 2019 Silverado. It is expected that the pricing of the truck will not be made public until a few weeks before the release. Chevrolet has said that the car is going to be available in the showrooms by the end of 2018.
do expect a slight increase in pricing, of course. The present model 2018 Silverado 1500 WT costs $28,285 for the base model and goes as high as $60,000, the 2019 model will definitely cost a couple of thousand dollars more than the present variant.
