2019 Honda Insight Exterior

The all-new 2019 Honda Insight has been styled around the same design as some other recent models of the company. It has a lot in common when it comes to styling with the new Accord and the Clarity. The large grille along with angular headlamps and an aggressive bumper vents look amazing but are nothing new. The makers have given the grille a unique touch with the “flying wing” insert that runs into the headlamps. The swoopy beltline on the car makes it stand out.

The rear end of the car does not look anything like the previous models. As the roof descends on the rear side of the car it becomes very sleek. There is no tailgate on this car. This new approach makes the car look a lot more modern as compared to the previous variants. By giving it a more conventional look the company plans to target a larger audience.

The rear end of the car looks amazing. The taillights have received an increase in there size and have LED strips which are narrow on the trunk as compared to the other areas. The small spoiler that has been added give an extra boost to the looks. Overall, the design looks intriguing and does justice to the brand’s name.

2019 Honda Insight Interior

The interior of the new Insight does share some of its features with the existing models. The quality of the interiors has been increased to make it look more classy and modern, unlike its predecessor. The dashboard catches the glance of everyone. A black and chrome strip has been cleverly placed which connects the A/C vents in the center and on the sides.

The eight-inch infotainment screen was a much-needed upgrade to keep the car on par with the competition. It has been placed just below the AC vents on the center.

Apple CarPlay, perforated leather seating and Android Auto will be optional. It will be loaded with features like Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Road Departure Mitigation.

The longer wheelbase on the car will increase the size on of the interior and make it a lot roomier than its predecessors.

2019 Honda Insight Engine

There isn’t any official information available about the drivetrain of this car. Although the makers have claimed that it will get the best in the class engine. Getting an Insight with a 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine and the electric motor with a horsepower of 150 will not be a shocker. It will get all the required juice from the lithium-ion battery pack. It is anticipated that the car will give a mileage of 50 mpg.

2019 Honda Insight Price and Release Date

The price of the car is still a mystery. It is hard to predict a cost for the car as it has been out of the market for quite a while now. As of now, only speculations can be made, it will be safe to conclude that the 2019 Insight will not cost a lot more than the Hyundai Ionic and should be in the same price bracket. The Hyundai Ioniq comes at a price of  $22,000, so the 2019 Honda Insight should be placed at somewhat around $25000. The 2019 Insight is expected to make it to the market in the summers this year.

The 2019 Honda Insight looks like a handsome looking, high mileage hybrid car which will definitely attract a lot of customers.
