2019 Honda Accord Rumors, Features, Price, Redesign & Release Date

Accord has been a well-known name in the car market and has been around for quite a while now. It is one of the top selling cars ever produced by Honda. The makers are all set to release the eleventh generation model of the Accord. The all-new Accord is going to have a much sportier look and will get a more sleek and modern design. A lot of design cues for the all-new Accord are going to be picked up from the latest Civic model, a lot of resemblances can be seen both on the inside as well on the outside.

The 2019 model is going to be offered with different options, there are going to be as many as five different trims to choose from. The five trim options on the all-new 2019 Honda Accord are going to be  EX, LX, EX-L, Touring and Sport. This will give the customers the option to choose the one that will suit them the most.

2019 Honda Accord Exterior


Just like the current model a major portion of the upcoming model is going to be made up of high strength steel which will add to the stability of the car. The wheel is going to come with two options while the EX, LX, and EX-L variant is going to have 17 inches alloy wheels, the remaining two variants that are the Touring and Sports variant will get 19-inch alloy wheels. The Accord 2019 gets an aluminum subframe that will come along with a huge grille. The car also has daytime LED running lights. There are going to be more than ten color options available for the new 2019 Accord. The black metallic color of the Accord looks stunning.

2019 Honda Accord Interior


The 2019 Honda Accord even after being defined as a sports car comes with the capacity to carry five people which makes it a perfect family car. The seats of the new Accord are quite comfortable, the back seats get a 60/40 split which makes it a lot more comfortable. Even the steering wheel of the new Accord is going to be quite innovative and will be installed with the latest feature and will come with the fingerprint technology. Heating and cooling facility has been provided on the front seats.

The 2019 Accord will come with two screens, a 7.0-inch screen will be provided on the instrument cluster of the car and 8.0 or a 9.0-inch touchscreen placed in the center which will be used for entertainment purpose. It is expected that the touchscreen will be installed with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The LX trim is going to come with a sound system that offers 4 speakers, while the EX trim will be offered with around eight to ten speakers, while the remaining two variants will get 10-12 speakers that will definitely enhance the entertainment experience. Safety has been taken care of on the new Accord. It comes loaded with features like remote control locking, engine start option.

2019 Honda Accord Engine


It is expected that the base engine on the new Accord is going to be the old 1.5 liters four-cylinder engine which will be capable of delivering 200 horsepowers. This engine is going to be coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Another engine option is going to be available which is going to be a 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinders engine which will deliver a horsepower of 250 to 270. This engine will most probably be offered with the Touring, EX-L, Sports trim and will come along with the 10-speed transmission. Just like the current model the 2019 model will also be capable of running on octane gas. Although there has been no official confirmation yet rumors state that there is also going to be a hybrid engine made available for the 2019 Honda Accord.

2019 Honda Accord Release Date and Price


Nothing has been made official about the release date of the 2019 model, it is speculated that the upcoming model is going to be released by the end of this year or in early 2019. The starting price of the 2019 Honda Accord is going to be at $22,000 and will increase for the higher trims.
