The Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is undoubtedly one of the most capable SUV that the brand has ever produced. Unlike the other SUV which sooner or later is converted into crossovers, thebest4Runner remains a classic with its continued body-on-frame traditional design. The suspension system installed on the TRD Pro makes things even better. The makers are all set up to raise the bars with an upgrade in 2019.

In terms of the exterior, you won’t find any major upgrades on the 2019 4Runne. Minor changes have been introduced here and there. The new roof rack is the only change that is immediately noticeable. Its thick bars look extremely stylish and complement the overall design of the SUV. The makers have stated that the rack has been added to boost the cargo space. The 2019 model also gets new LED fog lights.  It will get the same 17-inch alloy wheels that were provided on the previous model. The black grille with the comparatively bigger logo sets the TRD apart from other cars.

The major change that will feature on the 4Runner is its suspension system. The old system has been replaced with a better working and more advanced suspension that is going to be capable of absorbing more shocks and will, in turn, provide a smoother ride.

Certain minor changes can be seen on the inside as well on the latest 4Runner model. Entune infotainment system that was provided on the previous models will receive an upgrade for 2019. It is also going to come with a Toyota’s App suite and a high-end JBL Audio system. The only set back is that Apple CarPlat and Android Auto will not be added. The look of the seats on the car looks stunning and they have been so designed that the riders can get maximum comfort.

The all-new 2019 Toyota 4Runner can easily accommodate five people and comes with a cargo space of 47.2 cubic feet without the second-row seats folded. When the back seats go down the cargo space increases to 89.7 cubic feet. The new roof rack adds to the storage space.

2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Engine


The new model is going to be boosted by the 4.0-liter V-6 engine which was available on the previous model as well. It 5600rpm the engine will deliver 270 horsepower and a torque of 278 pound-feet at 4,400 rpm. It will be paired with a  five-speed automatic transmission. If you wish to have a fuel-efficient car that this is not the one as it offers a mileage of 20mpg on the highway and around 17mpg in the city. The TRD Pro is going to come with a part-time four-wheel drive system.

The multi-terrain select system on the SUV proves to be of major assistance. Changing the modes is as easy as it gets, all you need to do is turn a knob and choose the kind of terrain you will be driving the vehicle on. After you select the terrain option the car will automatically alter traction control, ABS setting and other things to best suit the terrain. The most unique feature is the Crawl Control using which you can choose a choose the speed you want to go on and after that, all you need to do is to concentrate on the steering, this turns out to be highly efficient while climbing on a rocky terrain.

2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro Release Date and Price


No information has been released about the pricing of the all-new 2019 4Runner. Rumors state that there isn’t going to be any major changes, seeing the upgrades we also think that the new model will fall in the same price bracket.xpect It is going to cost somewhere around $45000. The 4Runner should be available with the dealers by the end of this fall.
It is definitely going to give some tuff competition to the Jeep Wrangler. It looks and feels like a true SUV.
