Another feature that assists the driver is the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control which detects the distance of the vehicle in front and under certain circumstances, will adjust the speed of the car accordingly. This functions at speeds between 25 – 110 mph approximately and the Full – Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control does the same function at speeds 0 – 110 mph.

However, excessive road noise has been a hindrance. Also, the 2017 model seats four people with bigger cargo space instead of five in the base Prius. This is yet another disadvantage added to the 2017 model.
